I have to blame Roberts. Had he not started Darvish, whole different ball game.
Easy to say after the fact. You can't always predict which pitcher will have the hot arm, esp. on short rest. Not everyone is Oral Hersheiser.

Darvish was never on the entire series. I would have started with Wood, Kershaw,then Jansen.
The easiest places to coach from...
Roberts has a track-record of trusting his pitchers to get the job done, even when their last outing was a disaster. Sometimes it hasn't turned out so well. Sometimes it's been great. Darvish has a track-record of being one of the best pitchers in the game, and was the freshest arm available. It's always a gamble, that's part of what makes the game exciting.
The Astros simply played better baseball when it mattered most. The Dodgers had plenty of opportunities to keep the game close, but couldn't get the clutch hits to get runs across the plate. It's easy to blame Doc, but let's not forget that he was able to do what Donny-Baseball wasn't able to - get the Dodgers to the World Series.
The Astros played much better D, and had much better clutch hitting. Pitching didn’t kill the Dodgers. Their bats and gloves killed them.

Yep, cant blame the coach. Astros are just better than the dodgers.
