Since the college supplies the DD with all her equipment, bat, gloves, spikes, anyone know anything about this bat. She has used her CF4 for many years and is a little nervous changing bats.

The recent NCCA Approved Bat list (as of 7-15-2012) has two Nike Athena Bats listed - one Red and one White - but does not give their Serial. It show the Red one as having one strike against it already.

You know your DD will do well with any bat, it will only be a minor mental adjustment.

DD's at a school that supplies Louisville and Adidas and luckily she's been swinging a Xeno for past year.

If I recall, Arizona won a championship using that bat about 2 years ago, albeit with a team that relied more on speed then power.

It's not my favorite bat, but it'll do the job. If she's a good hitter she'll be fine.

Thanks about the Arizona comment. She is a lefty slapper with great speed, but can also hit for power, if needed.
