I was posting the current rules for people like myself who didn't know them....I didn't mean to offend. The USSSA rule was posted for people who were more familiar with their rules to be able to view the comparisons.
I do believe the way the current rules are written is open to interpretation....just my humble opinion.

Does item #7 actually eliminate crow hopping?
USA is he only country in the world which has/had separate rules for men and women. That will soon change.
I don't think it will because, in the men's game, nobody cares if the pitchers crow hop. The men, yes even the hitters, don't care and would rather have it than 100 IP's called.
The whole "leaping vs. Crow hopping" can be a very fine line and hard to see the difference for some. I'm surprised, based on the number of DM's I got how many people remember me predicting this would happen. Another prediction is, it won't take the women long to make crow hopping the norm for pitchers. They will learn from their male counterparts and will soon be flying off the rubber.
If ASA didn't vote this in THIS year, it'll go into effect next year or shortly. And NCAA is soon to follow. Maybe NCAA will change at the December NFCA convention? USA is he only country in the world which has/had separate rules for men and women. That will soon change.
