I'd blame the technical hitting thread.

DD struck out and popped up in a recent game in which her coach noticed that opposing coach knew DD. ... DD said that was her middle school coach, and that the pitcher was her TB teammate last fall. Coach says, ''Ah, that explains it. You could tell they knew you and weren't giving you anything to hit.'' ...

That had nothing to do with it, but thanks for giving her a pass. And could you kindly delete those 2 at-bats from her stats? It was so not fair.

They are giving her some balls to hit but nothing she can drive.

Pitchers are too slow. If she only had some really good pitchers who would throw her some nice fastballs, then WHAM!
