I didn't personally consider that pitch to have late break, but basically thrown high. I believe it was pitches like this that had Michelle Smith referring to Escobedo as being "Effectively Wild".
The second video of #17 post is Kenzie Fowler, but not a curve-ball. She throws a back-flip (backhand) change-up. Her follow through is very good, and what it does coming across is keep the ball down a little better than a straight up follow through. It also has a tendency to push it toward the outside corner.
