Mitt help please!

My DD is almost 13yo and pitches. Up until now I've just been using my fielders glove to catch her, but that can't go on .. it hurts too much. Will you please offer me recommendations on glove size and brands I should consider. I don't want to spend much, because of course all 3 kids need new cleats, bats, batting gloves, etc...

If your current glove fits OK, you might want to put a sponge in it to absorb some of the impact.

Based on what I've seen in the stores recently, in the sub-$100 range, I've been fairly impressed with the Easton Synergy and Worth Shut-Out catcher's mitts. The Worth has better palm padding between the two, but both will be WAY better than a fielder's glove.
