Would like some feedback on these two bats. My 11 year old has a Worth Eclipse and hates it. She likes a lite bat . Any info pros cons or other suggestions would be great.
She likes a lite bat. Needs all the bat speed she can get, the Worth Eclipse is a 31-20 but she does not like the feel says its heavy. She is using a 2007 Easton 31-19.5 but it just does not have any pop.
I think the Eclipse is more end loaded, not 100%, but if a drop 11 feels heavy it could be or its to long. For younger girls the drop 12 DiMarini Vendette is decent, light enough to get some bat speed and well balanced
My DD has the Synge and has been using it for a little over a month and she seems to like it. She has never tried the Miken Rain Lite so I can't say which is better but she hasn't complained about sting or it being too heavy. She went from a 29/18 last year to this one which is a 31/19.5.
Just fyi, but I'm pretty sure the Miken Rain Light is a -12 drop. There's a -12 Combat Lisa Fernandez that just bats was selling for a nice price a few days ago. And of course you can get the -11 Jessica Mendoza for a very reasonable price, but if she's finding a -11 too heavy, she might not want it.
My DD played with the Miken Rain Lite (32/20) all last season and loved it. If you are looking for a -12 drop bat she would recommend it. I have seen it sold lately at local store for around $200.
