In golf maintain the tush line is keeping the back (not toward the "catcher" but away from the ball or home plate). It means you keep the hips flexed as you rotate and not extend. That helps keeping the forward lean the plate (anterior tilt) and it also helps keeping the swing plane and bat Angie steep enough.
Many kids couple the rotation with a powerful hip extension. That means right hip goes toward home plate, spine stands up and ultimately flatten than swing.
Keeping hips bent and away from the plate as you rotate (almost sit down more into rotation) can help with all those things.
In the end the hips can extend but not until the hips have almost completed the turn. Extending the hips before you turn is a killer.
