Don't waste your time on the synge. No one that has used them likes them.

Miken MV-3 is a weapon. Daughter used them over 2 seasons. Problem with the MV-3 is durability. She broke 3 of them over 2 seasons of 12U. Miken coverd the first 2 under warranty and were very good to deal with.

She has the CF5 now and loves it. Pretty equal to the Miken and very durable.

Yeah just caught roys deal last night before i looked on here picked one up for 50 bucks i thought i dealcouldnt pass it up. Will be keeping my eye out for a good cf5 deal

My DD had a MV-3 that broke at the handle after 8 months. Miken sent an Intensit-E as a replacement that just sits in her bag. She also has a freak that she thought was OK if you found the sweet spot but her main bat is a 2011 Xeno which she loves.

I was just about to pull the trigger on a CF5 for her 12/13 bat since she has grown several inches over the last year. She wants a bigger 2011 Xeno but I have not been able to find one.

Edit: just a heads up...several sizes and models of 2012 CF5s are $179 (also no sales tax and shipping was charged...at least for us) on Amazon.
