Halo halo is the bomb! Ruzon's has a very good basic one. Governor's in Manila is the best I had. Like you, my wife is Filipina. My 1/2 Filipina daughter is a 15-year old pitcher who bats righty and lefty. She is almost 5'4".

My DW is from HI so there are plenty of places there to get it. My DD got her height from my side of the family, she is 12 (almost 13) and a bit over 5'7". Unfortunately it looks like my poor (younger) sons are going to be "blessed" with their mother's height genes....

1/4 Irish helped my daughter. 1/4 Italian did her no good.

I was in the Philippines once and there some kids playing on the beach. I thought they were 7 or 8 years old and found out they were 12-13 years old it was crazy.

I'm guessing the bats were donated (all using new Ghost Advanced) - because one girl who is about 4'10" looks to be using a 32" bat and is choking up about 3 inches! They showed a lot of heart all tournament.
