Hello everyone,
It was one of those games last night. I had two good innings and then I struggled in the third inning. The fourth inning I came back reasonably strong pitching, but not to where I was in the first two innings.
In the third inning, I found it difficult to locate pitches within the strike zone. When I did get a good location, the hit was for multiple bases driving in runs. It was one of those games where it seemed as though I was experiencing some kind of mental block, but I didn't know what it was to make the mental adjustment. It was also one of those games where I was contemplating someone to pitch in relief. Has this happened to anyone else and what did you do to regain focus and control? Thanks
Lori

beyond the fences
Lori,
Never question yourself. Sometimes, you lack your mojo,
leave it to coach to pull you unless you are getting rocked like
the 4th of July. I see struggling pitchers who try to aim, this pitch is normally flat
and right down the middle and ends up at the fence.
Your coaches trust you, trust yourself and pitch.
