going by the title of the video I think this is the worse call I have ever seen.

Where was the signal for infield fly? Am I missing it? The rule require "ordinary effort." I don't think that the pitcher's effort was ordinary.

You can hear him call it. But I'm guessing he didn't have enough time to get his arm up

Exactly what CB said. I will add that this particular ump just kind of looked confused on this play. IF is a weird beast I see non-calls pretty often on plays with very ordinary effort.

The umpire could have called clotheslining on the pitcher. She leveled the runner with a forearm to the collar bone.

Must have been against us.... happened with the ball at least 15-20 feet in the outfield

The video posted probably should not have been called an iff, but ultimately comes down to umpires judgement. As for other comments about the ball being in the outfield, doesn't matter if it was. If it is an iff situation and the ball is catchable by an infielder with normal effort it is still an iff regardless of if the ball is in the outfield or not.

I don't know why you wouldn't expect your pitcher to make that catch.
