Impeccable timing...almost saw Baylor defeat Missouri

Last night, I watched almost the entire Baylor v. Missouri game. Three excruciating hours of strike outs, ground outs, and pop ups.

At 11:45 PM, there are 2 out in the bottom of the 13th. Holli Holl steps to the plate, and waves the bat at the ball twice. I'm not sure she even sees the ball. So...I turn off the TV and go to bed.

All those words we can't use on this forum? I used all of them and then some when I got up today and read that Holl hit a walk homer on the next pitch.

I was just the opposite! I fell asleep on the couch sometime in the 10th inning (I am in Eastern time zone) and for some reason I woke up one pitch before the home run. Good thing too, the first thing my DD ask this morning was who won last night?

I fell asleep in the 11th sometime. Never got up. Checked my twitter feed the next day for the score.

Watched the entire game with friends and family... what a tough loss for Mizzou and Chelsea.

I dozed off in the 12th ...woke up in time to see Holly talking about her home run!
