First let me say this is LL majors.
1- Pitcher starts with hands together in front of her face, ball in pitching hand against the back of her glove
2 - pitcher bends forward at waist, separating hands and swinging both hands back
3 - then she straightens up swinging both hands forward, this time hand holding ball goes into glove and raises up to her face or higher.
4 - then she bends forward for a second time, separating and swinging the hands back
5 - then she proceeds with the windmill delivery.

My thought is the "double pump" is an illegal pitch.

can anyone give me some backup on this?

thanks,
bob

Dont know what the LL pitching rules are, but under ASA, TCS, FED, NCAA if she touches her hands together again after seperating them, it is a double touch and is illegal.

Thanks Comp.
I checked with Little League and they sent me this response:

"This is illegal. Hands may not come together twice. Ball in contact with glove is considered in glove."
just wanted to thank you and post the resolution.
