The pitchers wind up doesn't start from her hip, forward....
It's more like from her hip, straight out in front of the pitchers face....
As the pitcher is stepping forward, the windup stops for a split second, as to show the batter the ball, then continues the windup.
Rule: Delivery: The delivery may not have a stop or reversal of the forward motion.
I would guess that in all rules (ASA,etc), the windup has to start at the hip, going forward without stopping, right?
