Everyone has their own ways to break in a glove. I like to rub on Huberds shoe grease and throw it in the oven. Work it rub in some more and repeat as needed. I also do this at the beginning of each season and whenever I feel my glove needs some love. I have a Rawlings HOH that is 18 yrs young and a Wilson A2800 1b that is 17 yes young. I must say they love some glove love.... I'm curious what does everyone else do???

While breaking in a NEW glove. I steam ours, then use a softball on a stick to beat it into submission (create a pocket) while hot. Then I put glove oil on it after loosening up. Steaming will really soften the leather and it also softens the laces. Ive found baking REALLY dries out the laces and makes them hard.
