HS baseball - moratorium on composite bats

Oh, it's coming. Baseball usually sets the tone first, then softball is next to follow.

How do you figure? ASA already addressed composite bat performance, batted ball exit speeds, hot bats that break-in and get hotter and bat tampering with their equipment rule changes five years ago.

If anything, with respect to composite bat standards, high school baseball is just now catching up to where ASA has been for several years.

I have heard this too. It was even asked of Anderson's chief engineer, Steven Anderson, on this thread. He said there is no difference between the 2004 or other bats. They are identical other than paint scheme and perform the same in lab tests. It's perception that differs.

You can buy a new one on eBay for only $959!!!!
