HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all the DFP Dads!
Great start to the day for me. Spent the end of our tournament and the first part of Father's Day at the fields early this morning.
Our team is a first year ('00) 14U team playing up in 16U this weekend. The championship game started at 11p last night and didn't finish until 12:30a this morning. After the obligatory trophy presentation and pictures, we left the park around 1:30a. Our girls took the game to be tourney champs! We didn't tell the girls they were playing up in 16U until it was over. Saw some very tired looking faces with priceless expressions.
DD's bat was on fire and she pitched well too. Can't ask for more as a Dad. Nice start to Father's Day!
Any other Dad's coaching or watching their DD play this weekend?
