DD is a '02 pitcher that plays corners and sometimes RF and LF. She loves her 12" Nokona Buckaroo. Before she first used it n the dirt, I applied the Nokona glove conditioner and it broke in fast. Good stuff.
Dd is 16 and pitches and plays 3rd once in awhile. She has a glove smith elite, you can build it the way you want. But close to $300. Loves the feel and fit, not to heavy or floppy. By the way she is a only child and I love high end softball equipment. So I might be just a tad bit on the crazy side
My 12u daughter plays 3rd, 2nd and just got a new Rawlings GG Elite series that she really likes alot. Gotta work to break it in but the better quality gloves are all like this. It not as high end as the Nokonas, or A2000 but close IMO maybe a notch down but a really nice glove to consider. She prefers the 12"
I just went to a local mom and pop sporting goods store to buy some bulk lace. I was really surprised to see they had two discontinued Vinci RV1957 gloves on the shelf. Its a 12" steer hide glove they had priced at $99. I picked it up and played with it a little, it wraps up a 12" ball nice. Looks like it would make a great infield glove and for $99 one of the best deals I've seen. I wouldn't doubt they may even discount it a little.
DD uses 12 inch Nokona Buckaroo. 5'3" and 13yo. P/SS. Going into her 3rd year with it. Looks like it could go another 2 or 3. I think a little heavy for infield, but she's strong, and really likes it.
