DD is going to head up to the local D2 school next Monday and will meet with the coach, sit in on an English class with one of the softball players, have lunch with a few of the players, and meet with an admission counselor. She is so excited about attending an actual college class. I just know it will end up being a fantastic. memorable experience.

Make sure she gets the chance to attend a practice or two. Sometimes that can be a real eye opener.
The assistant coach was DDs travel ball coach two years ago and the team's All American player was the assistant. DD has been around this team for several years, has attended practices, countless games and a half dozen camps. Literally two minutes from our house.
That is great to hear. I see many young ladies surprised once they are immersed in a program. Sounds like she is on track for a wonderful experience.
