Personally, this is why I only ever work on one thing with my DD. When it comes to game or field practice time, just hit the damn ball. Thinking about what you're doing comes with our 1 on 1 time.
Anyhow, my personal thought is lots of front toss with over/under training. That is if you want to build speed and power. Most of the time over the past several years, when we hit the cage DD had 3 bats with her for over/under. I don't think anything will ever change just plain hitting the ball. I'm personally not a huge believer in "drills". Work on what you want to work on while swinging off a tee or front toss.
