12YOA DD uses 2007 Stealth speed, its filthy. Hottest anywhere. 10 YO has 2010, its hot but nothing like that older bat.

You could always go with a CF5, I have heard that the -11's are really good.

My only worry is dd uses a 30/18 now and I can't find the stealth in 30/18 or 30/19 seems 30/20 is the lightest?

My dd, ended the season one year ago swinging a 30/18. Off season she hit off a tee and side toss with her light bat, a 23 oz bat, and a 30 oz bat, both $10 at the consignment store. She started the spring then with a 21oz bat, and now her go to is 22oz. She has used my 26 oz slow pitch bat in scrimage against 12 u pitchers with no problem.

If it were me, I would take this time and go for it with a heavier bat. With a lot of off season work, it won't matter how much a bat weighs.

Axe is right. Bat dorks like some of us know the older eastons "the og's" are the legends. There isn't any fp bats made as hot as the scn1-scn5 synergys. They start hot and get hotter. The slow pitch guys talk about playing for years with cracks in them and still blasting the ball. People are selling them on softballfans.com for around $100, and you can find them on the bay for about that. You just have to search through all the $400 sellers. Some of these might be banned in some associations, but I know locally they couldn't tell you if a bat was banned, not banned, or nuclear. Heck, we haven't even had anyone look at our bats in 3 years, pretty sad really.

You'll love this redhotcoach, I picked up the 2007 from the used equipment sale at our park, 50 bucks. Best $50 I've ever spent on softball

Im thinking about the Miken Freak 31/19, I just haven't been lucky enough to get one for under the $100 mark that you got redhot and it's now my mission to get it. I've also been looking at the CF5 but that's awfully pricey for a 10 year old.

Also considered the xeno but that would be a 2 oz jump and I had my concerns? Does the xeno run light or on the heavy side?

Miken Freak 31/19 ditto ...that's our goal too....but it is only because we just switched to Kelly K. as our new hero. And Easton = 0 due to rumored role of us not being in Olympics...

Totally agree, I got DD a virus that she is loving right now (she's 11) but with as fast as she is growing I'm not sure how much longer she will be swinging it. I got it used & cheap off ebay about a year ago. As for the Xeno's they run heavy, I was looking into those before I picked up the virus, but when she was swinging a 30/20 catalyst she couldn't get the 30/20 stealth around fast enough and I was told that the Xeno's run about as heavy as the stealth's. Maybe you could find one for her to try and see how she does with it though. She may be stronger than you think :).
