Does cracked endcap effect performance?

Hey guys, forgive my ignorance.. My DD has a 2019 Xeno. We were out hitting today, noticed a difference in the sound. Upon examination, I noticed a crack/cut in the endcap. Does this effect the integrity of the structure? Just trying to figure out if I need to attempt to warranty before fall season gets here. Thanks for the help!

Not sure about performance, but be prepared for it to not pass equipment checks (if they are performed).

I did bat checks for a national tournament today and we had a Ghost that was missing about 1/6th of the cap — the chunk was completely cracked off. I asked the coach what the girl did to cause that. After she had gotten a hit, the next batter threw the bat back to the dugout and it landed on the concrete.

Girls ... don’t throw the bats. Not even just to get them back to the dugout. It can be an expensive lesson.

Yep! You need to warranty that.

And if you bought it with a credit card, keep a copy of statement and make a copy of your receipt before you send it in.

Visa signature cards double manufacturer warranty, you might end up being able to use it. I’m sure other cards offer a similar deal.

“Use it” meaning the warranty, not the bat!

Although, that might make a great commercial ... “You can’t toss that bat out, Blue! I bought it on my Visa card!”

Personally, my sending back would be dictated by how long you have left for warranty
