doesn't it hurt when it wraps behind you. Please explaing what you look for when using it?
I assume it was not the soft Bat Jack but, the hard one.Not a fan of the insider bat. The whip hit we use baseball pitching machine balls. My dd can hit softballs as we soft toss them and if you have a correct swing it doesn't hit you in the back. She and those I have trained do not use a helmet. Bouldersdad uses it as his number one training aid giving lessons and read about Valpo against Tenn. His dd was the player of the week so I would pay attention to his posts. She also got two HR's this weekend. We have made many of them. Now a true story on the bat jack. Don Slaught took when we first invented them to a Detroit Tiger MLB practice. A player being a smartt a!! stated looks like a toy , picked it up swung it and knocked himself out. So when you first start to use one , do use a helmet!!
We did not fill the bat with anything. Make sure you round the edge good so it won't cut the rope. Also set the rope length for the sweet part of the size bat your using.
