It always gets me when that “Lady” is followed by a specifically male-gendered word when there is a female-gendered equivalent that should be used instead.

DD's HS team decided to call themselves the "Lady Bulldogs".

EricF, that fails the Westwind “no snakes, no spiders, no dogs, no Lady” naming rule two ways, lol.

This naming thing happens because “we need a name by Monday, can you think of anything?”

I swear there are less than 25 cool softball team names in the English language.

I don't understand the dislike of the "Lady" names. The Lady Vols always seemed fine to me.
