I don't believe that USSSA uses dof/dh anymore. I believe it is AP (additional players) up to two and/or DP/flex.
USSSA Rules
USSSA allows the dp/flex as well as 2 addition APs. So, you can have up to 12 in the lineup with 11 batters. The dp/flex is identical to rules in ASA, FED and NCAA, but, USSSA allows 2 additional players (APs) who bat. But, these APs can also play defense just like the DP. However, if you wanted to bat the flex, they only player they can bat for is still the DP.
