DD received a little love last night

Last night was our MS award ceremony.

DD was recognized for being a 3 sport athlete this year.
She played volleyball, swimming, and softball.

She also received the MVP award for softball. Coach noted it was for all aspects of the game. She led the team in pitching, fielding, and hitting.
This made her smile!

I honestly haven't heard of a public school (or almost any team, for that matter) giving out an MVP award for at least 10 years, maybe more. It does my heart good to hear that it still happens!
