I know I do this too often but I get frustrate and do not want to be “one of those parents” and usually get good advice.
Games start in a week and a ½. Received this Email from 1 of the co-managers today:
“If your daughter is interested in pitching remember to start slow and pitching is basically three step process.
1. Step towards the catcher
2. circle with her pitching arm
3. release the ball.
Please try to practice @ home if possible. Encouragement is huge @ this point.”
Late last week co-manager 1 asked co-manager 2 what the distance to the rubber was. Co-manager 2 asked his wife, who started looking it up. I jumped in and said 35’. Some mumbling about that was the same distance as last year and probably was not correct but they went with it.
My guess is that the co-manager’s DDs are going to be our #1 and #2 pitchers at the start the year.
It is going to be a long year.
