Come on dad....take of the shin guards for her. Good luck and wishing a speedy recovery.
First game of state tournament (10U), DD catching and throws the runner on 3rd into a pickle with a BEAUTIFUL pick-off throw.
The return throw from 3rd a bit up 1st base line. DD snags with backhand and swings around to apply tag on bang-bang play at the plate. DD gets the out (3rd) and hangs onto ball, but walks off field like Frankenstein with tears in her eyes. Hand immediately gets puffy, and she's in a ton of pain. Straight out of dugout to ER where x-rays show dislocated and broken glenoid (shoulder socket).
Yes, that is my lawn-chair bag being used as a temporary sling in waiting room. Don't judge me....

Absolutely. Any port in a storm. Tough to understand why she's still wearing shin guards though.
Good luck with a quick recovery!
