Sorry man but I get a little pissed (not at my DD mind you..actually not even sure who I am getting mad at tbh 
) every time she breaks one and I am not even spending that much on them.

Never had a catastrophic failure like that with a ball glove!
And if I did, I'd fix it at my car in the parking lot, the only thing that'll fix that bat is inserting a crow bar in my wallet, no coming back from that one!

Has your DD broken any bats (yet)? I ask because I know she's about a year older than my DD. I just don't think my 10 year old (the team's power hitter) could break a bat if she tried. Curious what age it starts happening more.
However, two 10 year olds did break bats on our team last year. But both were old hand-me-downs from their older sisters and probably had thousands of hits on them from years of practices, games and lessons.
