DD who is 13 and a second year 12u pitched in the championship game of our first outdoor tourney yesterday and made me so proud. She pitched a great game even though we lost 4 - 1, it was a 1-1 game going to the 6th, but she was consistently cruising at 55-56 mph which is her best game speeds ever. And to top it off, and what made me more proud was the fact that she was not feeling well but never let on how she felt.....we found out after the game she had a 102.2 fever.....she's a tough kid to pitch like she did feeling that way...made me very proud of as I would not have let her pitch had I known that...and she knew that as well...lol!
