I coach in Upper East Tennessee and I just returned last Thursday from UNC-Chapel Hill's Team Camp. They only take 4 teams and the cost was $500.

They worked 2 teams at a time (on 2 fields) fielding, hitting, baserunning, bunt and slap defenses. At one station they videoed the girls swinging. This went on for about the first 2 1/2 hours of the day.

Then after lunch, 2 teams played while 1 of the other 2 teams went in the cage and into the team room to watch their video of them swinging. The girls swings were broken down and they took notes on what they were doing well and what needed to be worked on.

Although this was a team camp, I took plenty of notes and learned quite a bit.

I would recommend it to all school coaches and Travel Ball Coaches. As they had one on Tuesday for 12U, Wednesday 14U and Thursday 16U.

It was like a coaching clinic with benefits.
