What I teach our team is to hit the ball deep like middle of the body deep. The reason I do this is because most of the girls are to "out front" of most pitches inside or out so I use it more of a way to to let the ball travel deeper not necessarily as deep as I have the tee set up when we are hitting. I think the words to be used might be more along the lines of " let the outside pitch get a little deeper than the inside pitch" JMHO.
