I remember this video.... He was trying to throw a drop-curve, change up... called it the "triple pitch". You're right, it was awful instructions. However the pitch he was explaining if thrown correctly was nastyThis is exactly how I throw mine in games. The more flip, the more speed reduced. The more turn over, the faster it'll go but it stays lower. The trick is the find the balance.
Several years ago a guy tried to make a video acting as if he invented this pitch calling it the triple pitch or something, he sent me a copy asking me to endorse it. I explained to him that he didn't invent anything new here, I'd been doing that all along. His video had some of the most ridiculous content I'd ever heard.
It's a tough change to master but when she gets it, it's great. And almost impossible to pick, just hold it like any other pitch since the flip and turn do the work.
