Daughter is 10 but the size of a smaller full grown woman already. Her mitt is a 31” what size should she be using?

She’s got a Wilson a500 (I know cheap glove) but the web just seems small in it. Wondering about going to a 33-34” glove

My average sized 10 handles a 33.

I imagine there's a fair bit of variation in models and fit when it comes to hand size, but as far as handling the ball, 31 is smallish even with 11 inch ball.

Great to know. Thank you. I see most women’s sizes are 33-34” I’ll get her at least a 33” then. She would drop some last year with it but I figured she’s 9 it’s new not fully broke in this year same crap so I played with it last night and the pocket just seemed really small on it and squeezing hand down tended to pop the ball out.

Well slim pickings in our town. She ended up with the only one available mizuno 34” franchise. Another cheapie but should work for 10u rec ball. Side by side with Wilson a500 31”

DD just turned 11. She's been using a 33" for 3 years, last year of 8u and 2 years of 10u. Next up, 12" balls and a 33.5" glove.

Well the miz was short lived. I couldn’t get my hand in it but figured she could. Saw her on playground at school she tried it on could barely get hand in. Tried loosening stitching a lil and it snapped. Not pleased.
Shoulda know from the start since just by loosening the Velcro strap on 31” Wilson I could squeeze my hand into it

When she finally got it on she said uh that’s gonna need broke in lol I don’t think she liked it much anyway she was all excited till she put it on.
