Casey with Bustos at her first clinic with her, 6th grade I believe. They put the gold medals around her which was cool.


Her swing developed from there with Howard
Sophomore in high school


Last spring
Junior in college
Out to toe touch, just before launch. (Notice she is still balanced at toe touch, flexed knee). This swing took the ball over the left field fence across a grassy flat and landed down a ravine in a creek bed.

Great swing by your DD; IMO a great swing always looks effortless which we see in Bustos swing and your DD.

The parents sitting around the field, I heard one say...it looked like she didn't even swing that hard. Casey tells me, she barely felt it, but knew it was gone.

I was a basketball player, never had the pleasure of feeling that emotion of sailing one over a fence.

All I know is the smile on their face when they lap the bases and that works for me...
