I'm in town for a few days and want to pick up a few bats for our travel teams.
Have to shop in person and would like to know who has the best selection and prices.
Thanks
hmmm.... going to Orange County for a softball tournament this weekend and last time I was in Orange County I gave Core a call.
I have a confession to make (as I lower my head and stare at the ground)................I've never actually bought a bat from Core, but I have sent either 4 or 5 parents to him who actually did buy, and they thanked me later after dealing with Todd, so put the rocks down...! We have an equipment vendor probably 20/25 miles from my house, this guy services both our HS and Anna's TB organization. Every price I've ever got from Core, this vendor is almost exactly to the dollar with Todd. I priced a QPro from Todd the other day, pretty sure I'm going to get one from him (Todd). But I'd buy a bat from Core without one bit of hesitation! A man who puts his business and his reputation out there for all to see is NOT going to screw it up, not with the long reaching arms of today's internet/social media!
I've also never bought a glove from Drakemir, he came along after I'd bought probably 10 Vinci's from Casedawg! Same story here, even though I'm mainly buying/using Rawlings gloves now, I'd buy a Vinci from Drakemir in a second, if fact I did get one of the dad's on our HS team in touch with Drakemir, and he bought two Optimus models.
Bottom line is we're very blessed to have Core & Drakemir, two equipment reps who go above and beyond for us forum members.......(even though I've never bought from either)
Okay, confession over! Drop those rocks!!
