DD is 5'8" and swings a 33/24.

If I had to go back in time I would never have let her go above a 32...what are you trying to accomplish by extra length? If you can get to an outside pitch then IMO your bat is long enough.

My 10-year old in 5'0" feet. She used a 30 -12 in the fall. Should she be moving up to a 31 -11? Can she do a 30 -11, or does she need that extra inch? What if she grows and inch or two before the season starts?

It kind of depends on what -12 she has. A lot of -12 bats are aluminum and aluminum bats are usually right on target. Many composite bats are overweight. Take a look at the bat weight post.

She is using an Axe aluminum, looking to go Axe composite. Database doesn’t seem to have much info on that brand.

Does she NEED an extra inch? Most likely not. She is still 10U. If she is between two sizes, better a little too small than a little too big. This is assuming you are OK getting another new bat in a year.

First year 10U my dd was swinging a 28-11 and she was probably ready for a 29-11. So I bought a 30-11 at the Season ending sales. This is Summer 0f 2019. 6 months later the 2 inch 2 ounce jump was really noticeable. It took all spring for her swing to look normal again. To be fair, with covid, she was not hitting regularly, so that could have been part of it as well.

She likes to stand off the plate, so I'm thinking the extra inch could help. Of course could always move her a bit closer to the plate as well, but she seems comfortable there.

In fact in this video she said the coach or catcher told the pitcher to throw her outside because of where she was in the box.

If we go with 30 -11 can grab one on sale. If 31 -11, likely have to wait closer to season, but then will swing all winter with a 30 -12 and then make the jump.

I would definitely go to 30/19. An extra inch isn't going to matter but it could slow her swing down. She is still pulling the ball so that tells me she is not having a hard time reaching the ball.

So I normally use a 33inch -11 Easton . At the batting cages it got a dent in it and I honestly feel like it was a bit too long for me . I'm getting a new one so I'm wanting to see if anyone on here thinks a 32 would be better or any suggestions. 16u/18u. 5'6/ 5'7 . Thanks in advance.
At your height you should be using a 33” bat. I would go with a lighter balanced bat like an LXT, Demarini CF/Prism in a drop 10/11.
The PC AD is offering may be a cheaper alternative but my question to him would be why is it hardly used?
