Bat an extension of the forearm

This is my 14 year old DD, about a 1/2 frame after contact. She is a little more pinched with her back elbow and a slightly more narrow stance, but it looks kinda similar.

So, does anyone have any pictures of college softball players that look like Cabrera at the point of contact like in the picture below?

Then there is the somewhat barred front arm. Clearly a slightly different style. I think I saw somewhere that someone said that if you use a barred front arm, it should stay barred through the swing (?). Yes, I realize that Cabrera's front arm would be straighter when he's reaching for a lower and/or outside pitch.

At the end of a pitching practice with one of my pitchers tonight, we were talking about hitting. I showed her one of the Cabrera clips I have. I had taught this pitcher how to use the tip-it bat action like Cabrera does. She chuckled and said, "They don't let me do that anymore." So sad when you run into people who are so closed-minded and unaware of this tip-it action. It isn't something weird that I just pulled out of my rear end. Funny thing is that they continue to let my DD use the tip-it action. It might be that they know they will have a battle on their hands with me if they try. I suppose it's just a matter of time before they tell her that she can no longer use it. Why let a player use such a silly pre-motion to get things going.
