So Cal
We want to have that first and second Cabrera photos as our goal...

The more important goal is using the correct mechanics from the beginning of the swing that RESULT in passing through those positions at and after contact.

Congrats to your DD on her bomb!!

Then there is the somewhat barred front arm. Clearly a slightly different style. I think I saw somewhere that someone said that if you use a barred front arm, it should stay barred through the swing (?). Yes, I realize that Cabrera's front arm would be straighter when he's reaching for a lower and/or outside pitch.

say what you want about my DD's swing..but I'll be damned if you're gonna talk like that about my gravy!

Well, we've all heard the "Yo mama'a so fat" jokes..... Well, we ain't touchin' that with a 34-inch bat.

But..... Yo gravy's sooooo bad that most people don't know it's gravy.

Doug,
Did you try Attack Opp. Drill?

Swinging 'around' your body, taking the quick left turn will have a hitter collapsing their front arm/lead elbow. Attack opp. will help with the 'feel' of swinging 'out from' your body while stressing get to extension/power V to the hitter. JMHO.

So, does anyone have any pictures of college softball players that look like Cabrera at the point of contact like in the picture below?
