$1,500/year for pitching lessons
$500 for batting lessons
$500 for indoor tunnel time to practice hitting/pitching in the winter
$1,500 team dues

$2,500 for gas, tolls, food, hotels during the playing season.

$500 misc for whatever I missed or equipment needs repair/replacing

$7,000 looks about right.

A safe guess is between 8-10K for 1 12U player. That's about where i am. That's without calculating everything up and just guessing. The things that add up are the random tournament day trips to a sporting goods store for things like hand warmers, hair bands and glove relacing kits. Extra water for the other players/parents. nearly impossible to keep exact tract but I'll spend 10K on this over one more pair of shoes for my wife LOL!
