I was going to buy DD a pair of metal cleats for the fall but after cleating herself several times in the store trying them on I opted for an aggressive plastic cleat.

So pitching distance at 14U is now consistent throughout the org's, but steel cleats are not?

IIRC, U-trip 2012 only allowed steel cleats above 14U. No knowledge whatsoever about the others.

Not sure about all of the sanctions, but I am pretty sure USFA allowed metal cleats at 14U last year. I think USSSA has also approved metal cleats for 14U this season.
