Except for the times when the runner forgets to touch all of the bases......

Obviously, but the post was comparing it the no pitch intentional walk. The pitcher could throw a wild pitch... a team could choose to steal bases especially if the pitcher is taking something off the pitches like they often do. We've all seen clips where the pitcher misses on an intentional walk and the batter smokes one.

I don't mind the no pitch walk & I wouldn't mind the no base running home run, but as a batter I'd want to do my home run trot and bask in the adulations of all my fans, or slow trot to annoy the opposition's fans.
