All Star Team Selected, first practice tonight

ASA. Per the 2010 yellow book we can select teams and start practice after May 1. First tourney is May 28 so I have about 3.5 weeks to whip the team into shape. As I believe in positive coaching I ordered 14 of the shirts below to help build team morale.

In HS, my boys practiced from 5:30 AM - 7:30 AM, for baseball and my kids had a 20 minute drive. But, some spoil sports complained and the coach had to cut it out.

My neighbor's girl was at TB practice and the coach said that practice would be at 6 and she said "AM or PM?"

I had 7AM practices last year for slow pitch and I had an hours drive.

I absolutely LOVE hearing stories about this. I get a kick out of telling the girls that "Well, at least I don't make you come up here at 5:30AM."

The girls love the shirts. They go around bragging, "You think your coach is tough, look at what our team motto is".
