My girl finally won! I wouldn't normally be excited, over approx 12 yrs of coaching teams I have won games before, but this one was important. I am the assistant coach on this team, despite the fact I am more experienced coach. It was a pre-existing 9u team and I couldn't get my own team. They were 0-14 last year and were 0-4 this year. The head coach and her husband went on vacation and left me in charge so I ran the team my way and it worked. Big thing was the batting order I had. Were we had only had a max of 6 runs in the first 4 games, we scored 14 and won 14-13. May I add that I was very proud of my DGD. This is her 1st year playing. When her came up to bat she took a good cut at the 1st pitch and missed but the coach of the other team told his girls to stay alert because this one is a hitter. She went 3 for 4.
