If a person had the skill to teach and nurture a good kick stride and its attributes it could be a powerful tool. It would really benefit a lot of professional players also.

Now, I admit I believe her original kick stride was a little too extreme for game time. But as a drill it's great.

A more moderate kick stride would benefit her greatly at this point.

One thing that is sorely missing at the instructional age is the willingness to experiment, think outside the box. I hardly ever see anyone trying over swings, different styles, etc. Most teach a cookie-cutter approach.

I've had players perform check-swing drills in live game at-bats. I had one player do a Happy Gilmore swing during an at bat. With positive outcome, I might add. When you're leading by 14 runs there are lots of more interesting things to do than insult an opponent by "stepping off".

Can you do this in higher level play? Nope! But you can in practice!
Good post keep them coming. Bold above may show up and some point as the hitter gets older?
