My daughter has been pitching all spring at 43' for HS. This weekend she has a 14U tournament where the pitching distance will be 40'.

Are there any adjustments she should make to account for this or should she just do everything the same?

Depends on her pitches. The breaking pitches will not work as well at 40' compared to what she is used to. The speed changing pitches will be more effective. If she has superior speed, all she needs is a fastball (hitting corners) and a changeup to be successful at 40'

I thought 12u's are at 40' and 14u's switch up to 43'. I think nationally this is 'rule'. Unless its a local rec rule (which should get up to speed with the rest of the nation).
I'm assuming your DD's a freshman....she should find the closer targets easier to hit. Only adjustments are what Starsnuffer said.

ASA 14u is still at 40'. Every other alphabet soup org is at 43' at 14u. Most the HS pitchers in our area just moved up to 16u.
