My DD played in her first world series in 8U. We lost every game but it was fun

softball/baseball are the hardest sports to play well. you want to lose kids? make it harder for them...on the other hand, you could make it fun, which is why the kids who stay in the game longest, love it.

Well thanks again for all of the advise and perspectives. We changed up several things and it seems to be much better and enjoyable for her. The biggest issue was the every day practice schedule (Which for the record was prescribed by PC). We are only pitching on team practice days and once over the weekend until Tourneys start up. She seems to be loving it again and hasn't mentioned quitting or leaving softball again. The plan is to get through the fall with as much fun as possible and see what she wants to do come spring time.

Just wanted to give a quick update on the situation and say thanks again to all. This site is awesome, i only wish i would have found it sooner!!!
