depends on whether you mean lean over or lean to right or left depending on right or left handed pitcher. The body lean to left or right in my opinion is good way to get more power.

I don't agree with you analysis. When the pitcher pulls their glove out it so help keep their back shoulder from over-rotating so the ball does not have tendency going behind the back. Swimming with the glove is not good because the pitcher cannot keep the shoulder back and down on snap/release.
