A really lotta.....force.:p Hey, don't you teach this stuff in college. You should know this stuff.
I say this jokingly.:p

Maybe he meant an exponential relationship between force and displacement..which isn't really a good approximation for rubber materials :)

The description of 'exponential' simply implies what is being described as changing at a faster-and-faster pace (i.e., slope) as a function of the independent variable (such as 'time').

e.g. a convex function of which an exponential function is an example. Gotcha. Probably not really true but not a big deal.

Nothing magical taking place here.

Simply retain the inner thigh tension of the upper rear leg and you will get this action of 'staying in your leg'.

As an aside, there sure seems to be a lot of front-leg usage during this 'rear-legged swing'.

On video it appears that most of the swing takes place against the front leg. The reality and swing thought however is you swing off the backside. Try to do the swing both ways and tape them both.

That's really all one has to do. Swing it with the front leg dictating the action and then do with the rear leg. If you are truthful you will give up the front leg nonsense (not directed at you Shawn)

If you think about the front leg as the main power source. I can almost say for sure that you will end up with to much weight forward.
